Our Program

Classroom Information

Valley of the Moon Preschool provides care Monday-Friday from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. Both early care and after care are available daily. Early care starts at 8:00 am and after care is available from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. All children must be potty trained, aged 2.9 - 6 years old and up to date on all vaccinations.

Mixed-Age Learning and Play

In our unique mixed-aged preschool learning environment, children of different ages learn together, creating a dynamic and inclusive atmosphere. This type of setting allows younger children to learn from their older peers, while older children develop leadership skills and empathy. It's a way to foster a sense of community and promote social and emotional growth.

Our Approach

Our goal is to promote a love of learning for all children. Children engage in math, reading readiness, arts and craft activities, sensory activities, music, manners, cooking, outdoor play, gardening, yoga, science and nature study. Our carefully planned schedule provides a balance of structured, learning and free play. Valley of the Moon Preschool's philosophy is to provide a secure, stimulating and educational environment for your child, where they can:

What Parents Think

My son went to Valley of the Moon Preschool but just started kindergarten a few weeks ago at a new school. I asked him the other day after I picked him up if he likes his new school and he said "yes, but not as much as Valley of the Moon."

When my wife and I started to check out pre-schools for our son, we checked out a few places before settling on Valley of the Moon. From the beginning we felt great about our decision to take him there. He attended for almost 2 year and wanted to stay longer almost every day at pick up. The teachers there are wonderful, caring and very thoughtful. You'd be lucky to have your child go to school here.
